Once upon a time, there lived a caterpillar. It was a very, lonely, caterpillar. This caterpillar loved to travel around. Sometimes he would go to the pond. But wherever he went, he was always alone. Everyone he saw made fun of him. He couldn't jump high, fly, or dig, One day, he went on a journey, "This will be the longest journey ever." the caterpillar thought. First, he went through the woods to the pond. In the woods he saw a worm. "Hello," the caterpillar said, "What are you doing?" The worm replied, "Making a tunnel. Hey! Wanna have a tunnel digging race?" the worm asked."No, I can't dig." said the caterpillar. "What?! You can't dig?!" the worm started to laugh, "HA HA HA! HEY EVERYONE! CATERPILLAR CAN'T DIG!" "HA HA HA!" other worms started to laugh. The caterpillar just walked away, sad. At the pond, the caterpillar met a frog. "Hello," said the caterpillar said, "What are you doing?" the frog replied, "Jumping from lilypad to lilypad. Hey! Wanna have a jumping race?" the frog asked. "No, I can't jump." said the caterpillar. "What?! You can't jump?!" the frog started to laugh, "HA HA HA! HEY EVERYONE! CATERPILLAR CAN'T JUMP!" "HA HA HA!" other frogs started to laugh. The caterpillar just walked away, sad. Next, the caterpillar headed towards the town. In the town, the caterpillar saw a cat. "Hello," said the caterpillar said, "What are you doing?" the cat replied, "Scratching wood. Hey! Wanna have a wood scratching contest?" the cat asked. "No, I can't scratch." said the caterpillar. "What?! You can't scratch wood?!" the cat started to laugh, "HA HA HA! HEY EVERYONE! CATERPILLAR CAN'T SCRATCH WOOD!" "HA HA HA!" other cats started to laugh. The caterpillar just walked away, sad. At this time, the caterpillar felt super hungry. He ate and ate and ate. Then he decided to climb a tree, he hung from a branch. A crystal looking thing covered the caterpillar's body. He slept for 2 weeks. After, 2 weeks, the caterpillar came out during a party the worms, the frogs, and the cats threw. Except he wasn't a caterpillar. He was a butterfly! He noticed the worms, the frogs, and the cats. They all noticed him. "Wha-what happened to you?" they all asked. The caterpillar replied, "Flying all around. Hey! I bet you can't fly." They all jumped, flapped their wings, but nothing worked. "HA HA HA! HEY BUTTERFLIES! WORMS, FROGS, AND CATS CAN'T FLY!" Every single butterfly in the town started to laugh. "HA HA HA HA HA HA!" The worms, frogs, and cats walked away, sad.
